Our history
Our company was founded by Mr. Efrain Gonzalez Basaldua. It was later acquired by Soto family in 1976.
Started our import and export operations.
Opened our facilities in the city of Queretaro; which currently have specific yards for maneuvers, egoba equipment, carriers equipment, trucks, platforms, main offices, dinning room, mechanic garages and wide green areas of more than 100,000 m2 (up to 120,000 sq. yd.).
The Nuevo Laredo Terminal was opened.
Operations began in our new yards in San Luis Potosi, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Saltillo.
In 2005 the offices’ expansion was concluded and patios, workshops and a diesel station were constructed, with an approximate surface area of 90,000 m2 (107,600 sq. yd.).
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) successfully audited and certified our Security System according to the C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) program, which we are incorporated since then.
Pursuing a continuous improvement in our processes, we were certified in the new ISO 9001:2008 regulation by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification (IMNC). This year the company was acquired by Mexico’s Transport Fund (FTM), becoming the largest and more specialized transportation group in Mexico.
For the first time we received the Best Mexican Companies award.
We started operations in the Silao terminal.
We obtained the New Scheme of Certified Companies certificate (NSCC, formally called Authorized Economic Operator), with which we complied with a requirement of the Tax Administration System (TAS) for the safety of the supply chain (in 2016 we obtained the recertification). We started providing the Consolidated Cargo service under our Palex trademark.
Thanks to the growth of our operations in Silao, we relocated our terminal in a wider and more functional site.
We renewed our brand and communication.
